Question
While installing the IBM Tivoli Storage Manager Reporting and Monitoring, the above error is seen when installing the product.
Answer
The DE_trace.log will show a entry similar to the following entry:
DECLICommon validateXML tt-chy-gtiapp44.tt.rbtt.com IP org.xml.sax.SAXParseException: The reference to entity "******" must end with the ';' delimiter.
Please make sure that the volume label where the IBM Tivoli Storage Manager Reporting and Monitoring is being installed does not have the following in the name:
"Volume label has a non-alphanumeric character"
