Abstract

Is User Account Control (UAC) supported for use with IBM Rational ClearCase on Windows?

UAC is a feature that is currently available on Microsoft Windows Vista and later.

Support for UAC on Microsoft Windows 7 and Windows Server 2008 was added with ClearCase 7.1.2.

This means that ClearCase 7.1.2 is supported when run on a Windows 7 and Windows Server 2008 with UAC turned on.

Support for Windows 8 and Windows Server 2012 was added with ClearCase 8.0.0.5.

This means UAC is also supported on Windows 8 and Windows Server 2012 with ClearCase 8.0.0.5 installed.
