You need to know how to set the credential properly to proceed.

Answer

Fill in the following fields with the correct value to proceed:

  • Server Name/IP Address = hostname or IP address of TDS 3.0 server.

Note: You need to ping the hostname or IP to make sure the TDS 3.0 server is connected

  • Port Number = 3893

Note: You may need to use "telnet" in command line to connect with the 3893 port of TDS 3.0 server to make sure it's accessible

  • Admin DN = cn=Admin

Note: You need to check the pt.cfg file in TDS 3.0 server, and search for "LDAP_MANAGERDN" part and it is "cn=Admin" if you are using the default TDS 3.0 setting.

  • Password = root

Note: You need to check the pt.cfg file in TDS 3.0 server, and search for "LDAP_MANAGERPW" part and it is "root" if you are using the default TDS 3.0 setting.

  • Error File = C:\error.txt

Note: You could put any text file here that you could write on TDS 4.3 server

Click Next and the migration wizard will proceed.
