Abstract
If you experience problems in functionality when upgrading or migrating to WebSphere Process Server V6.1.2 (all releases), interim fixes are available to resolve the problems.
Content
You can find the following fixes on Fix Central or on the WebSphere Process Server Support site:
- JR33131
This fix addresses out-of memory problems that are caused by a memory leak and the increasing number of anonymousxxx subdirectories in the wstemp directory. This fix applies to WebSphere Process Server versions 6.1.2.1, 6.1.2.2, and 6.1.2.3. - JR30708
Fix JR27047 changes the logic in the Service Component Architecture (SCA) such that a message that is received by an SCA message-driven bean is held until either a) half of the transaction timeout has elapsed, or b) all applications complete their start sequence. This logic can cause a deadlock condition when an in-flight transaction is held with a "wait" condition that can take time to release. This interim fix (JR30708) resolves the deadlock by changing the server logic so that it does not hold a running transaction to wait on a condition, but instead prevents the transaction from being created until it can be processed successfully. This logic requires that the Java EE Connector Architecture (JCA) endpoints are not activated until all of the applications all applications complete their start sequence. This fix applies to WebSphere Process Server versions 6.1.2.0 and 6.1.2.1. JR30708 for 6.1.2 (all releases) is provided in Fix Pack 2 (6.1.2.2) or later. - HIPER APAR JR33946
This fix resolves a performance problem on SCA request-response operations. This interim fix will apply to WebSphere Process Server version 6.1.2.2 and 6.1.2.3. The performance issue does not occur in version 6.1.2.2 but will prevent the issue after upgrade to 6.1.2.3. So the APAR for 6.1.2.2 is a proactive problem prevention . Note: JR33946 includes the code changes of JR33443.
Note: If you are running WebSphere Process Server on any of the V6.2 releases refer to the following flash:
