Problem(Abstract)
In IBM Rational Team Concert, when setting up the user registry using SSL enabled LDAP, you may receive a message indicating that "LDAP connection was attempted with warnings."
Symptom
The following message may occur when attempt to click on the "TestConnection" button in the "Setup User Registry" page:
LDAP connection was attempted with warnings. Resolve warnings or click Next to continue.
Unable to validate the user information. ldap://{LDAP Server Location}:636
Resolving the problem
Because you are trying to setup a SSL enabled LDAP connection, you need to use the following URL for your LDAP location:
"ldaps://{LDAP Server Location}:636", instead of
"ldap://{LDAP Server Location}:636"
