I have Workfolder Application Facility (WAF) installed and am trying to take the option on the CMPRF menu of the QVI library to work with object directories. That option, as well as any of the others on the CMPRF menu, fail with a VIX1055 "Not authorized to requested function". What can I do to correct this?
If Workfolder Application Facility is installed (as shown below and confirmed by the 4th line of the EKDVERSION data area in the image file library, such as EKDLIBFIL), then QVI should not be in the library list when attempting to work with WAF profiles. In order to create object directories or work with any of the WAF profiles, this should be performed:
1. By a WAF System Administrator. This would be someone defined as having *ALLPRIV or *SYSAD in the Privilege Name (PVNAME) field of the EKD0360 file in the image file library (e.g., EKDLIBFIL).
2. From the EKD330 menu. This can be found in the EKDLIB program library and can be accessed by typing "GO EKD330" on the i5/OS command line.
The library list for a WAF System Administrator should be:
Note: WAF530LIB is the library for WAF fixes, as distributed from our web site ftp://public.dhe.ibm.com/as400/products/contentmanager/v530/waf/
The EKDVERSION data area will show the words "WAF UPGRADE FEATURE FOR CM/400 5.3" at offset 150 if the Workfolder Application Facility is installed. For example:
