Problem
This technote describes how to test between Oracle forms and a Microsoft Internet Explorer (IE) application using IBM Rational Functional Tester.
Symptom
After apply the workaround to test Oracle form with Rational Functional Tester: JavaPluginID and JavaPluginVerIndependent, Rational Functional Tester can not test on regular IE application
Cause
Rational Functional Tester is using the jinitiator JRE instead of regular JRE for the browser at this time.
Resolving The Problem
User needs to remove the above two registry keys, JavaPluginID and JavaPluginVerIndependent, then Rational Functional Tester will be able to test general IE application again.
