Collecting Data (Must Gather): What initial data should be gathered to troubleshoot issues in IBM Rational Quality Manager?
The following list is data that should be collected when troubleshooting Rational Quality Manager issues, prior to contacting Rational Quality Manager support:
- Rational Quality Manager log:
- If Tomcat:
Rational Quality Manager logs are in '<RQM>/server/' - all files starting with rqm.log (rollovers will have a .1, at the end).
Tomcat logs are in '<RQM>/server/tomcat/logs' - all files.
- If using IBM WebSphere Application Server:
Rational Quality Manager logs are in '<WAS>/AppServer/profiles/<PROFILE>/' - - all files starting with rqm.log (rollovers will have a .1, at the end).
WebSphere Application Server logs are in '<WAS>/AppServer/profiles/<PROFILE>/logs/<SERVER>/' - all files ending with .log
- If Tomcat:
- The team server properties file.
- The browser and version that is being used.
