Problem(Abstract)
When installing a WebSphere Information Integrator Content Edition version or a fix pack, the installation fails with the message:
'Errors occurred during the installation - null'
Symptom
The installation log reports errors like the following:

Cause
This problem is due to corruption of the InstallShield registry.
Resolving the problem
The vpd.script file under the InstallShield vpd registry needs to be reviewed for corruption. Any left over entries from a prior installation of WebSphere Information Integrator Content Edition need to removed. Please contact IBM support for further assistance.
