After installing Tivoli Common Agent (TCA) on TPM server, subsequent Inventory Scans fail with:
COPTDM094E. The system cannot find the local server
TPM511.ibm.com in the data center model database for the performing operation.
The Inventory Scan failure is caused by installing the Tivoli Common Agent on the TPM server. This is not supported, and will result in both Inventory Scan failures as well as TCA discovery failures.
The TCA must be uninstalled from the TPM server.
