Problem(Abstract)

This technote explains why a working set may not appear in the IBM Rational Software Analyzer (RSAR) software analyzer configuration wizard Analyze a resource working set section

Cause

The working set is not a Resource Working Set.

Resolving the problem

The working set cannot be a Java working set. The working set must be a Resource working set. To create a resource working set follow the instructions provided.

Creating A Resource Working Set

  1. Click the filter icon (carrot) on the Package Explorer or Resource Navigator

  2. Click Select Working Set...
  3. Click New...

  4. Select Resource

  5. Provide a name for the working set and select the desired resources
  6. Click Finish
