Troubleshooting
Problem
Running a report in Report Studio or Query Studio causes an error. The problem can be reduced down to a single column causing the error.
Symptom
RQP-DEF-0177 An error occurred while performing operation 'sqlScrollBulkFetch'status='51'
UDA-SQL-0144 An arithmetic exception was detected [IBM][CLI Driver][DB2/AIX64]
SQL0801N Division by zero was attempted. SQLSTATE=2201
Cause
One of the columns (such as a Customer ID #) is incorrectly set to be a Fact in the Framework Manager model.
Environment
DB/2 reporting database
Resolving The Problem
Change the Fact column to an Identifier.
Steps:
- Open Framework Manager with the model used with the problem report.
- Expand the correct Namespace and Model Query Subject that contains the problem column.
- Click on the Query Item that causes the error.
- In the Properties pane, change the Usage property from "Fact" to "Identifier"
- Save and publish the package.
- Run the report.
