Problem
Users get intermittent errors when attempting to log in to the Cognos Connection portal.
Symptom
CAM-AAA-0064 The function 'CMQueryCognosSecurityJNI' failed.
CM-SYS-5192 Content Manager did something wrong.
CM-SYS-5003 Content Manager is unable to access the content store. Verify your database connection parameters and then contact your database administrator. Failed Logon:com.jnetdirect.jsql.g: CoInitialize - The COM library is already initialized on this thread [OleDB Status:1],

Windows and MS SQL Server
Resolving The Problem
Try using SQL Server Authentication instead of Windows Authentication for the content store connection settings in Cognos Configuration.
Steps:
- Open Cognos Configuration
- Click on Content Manager
- Delete the Content Store Database entry
- Right click Content Manager
- Create a new Database using SQL Server Authentication
- Enter name and connection parameters
- Test the connection to make sure the parameters are correct
- Save and restart the services
