Resolving the problem
Edit the httpd.conf file in the <apache_install_dir>/conf directory and ensure that the 'ScriptAlias' directive is placed before the 'Alias' directives.
- Open the httpd.conf file in the <webserver_install_dir>/conf directory in edit mode.
- Verify that the 'ScriptAlias' directive is placed before the 'Alias' directives. For example: ScriptAlias /ibmcognos/cgi-bin /opt/ibm/cognos/c10/cgi-bin
- Restart the web server after making your changes.
