Troubleshooting


Problem

A an SQL prepare fails with an error when running a report.

Symptom

QE-DEF-0177 An error occurred while performing operation 'sqlPrepareWithOptions'.

UDA-SQL-0458 PREPARE failed because the query requires local processing of the data. The option to allow local processing has not been enabled.

UDA-SQL-0475 The OLAP function 'sum' contains a clause (AT or PREFILTER) that is not supported by the database. This operation requires local processing of the data.

QE-DEF-0301 SQL statement.

Resolving The Problem

Enable local processing of the data.

Steps:

1. In Report Studio, in the Query Explorer, select the Queries.

2. In the Properties window, under Query Optimization, click Processing, and click Limited Local.
