Configcp not detecting objectstore

Problem

Product Version: Configuration Manager 7.0 Build: 150.18 Platform: SOL Description: The following error message occurs when launching configuration manager on Solaris: No handler for exception: Miscellaneous ObjectStore error Error accessing the executable file, "/opt/ODI/OS6.0/sunpro/lib/oscminit6"; It either does not exist, or access was denied. (err_misc) Solution: 1. Check to make sure that the objectstore services are up and running. This can be done as follows: ps -ef | grep ostore ps -ef | grep oscmgr6 2. If they are running, navigate to the \cognos\cer2\bin directory and open the cer2.ini file. Ensure there is an 'ObjectStore Location=' entry (usually the 3rd entry from the top) and that it is pointing to the correct path (\opt\ODI). If there isn't an entry, then an entry needs to be added under [Location]. An example of this entry is ObjectStore Location=/opt/ODI. Make a copy of the cer2.ini file and then add this entry to the original. 3. Re-launch configuration manager.
