Oracle automatic statistics gathering replaces analyze_schema.sh for InfoSphere MDM Server for PIM and InfoSphere MDM Collaboration Server.

News

Abstract

Oracle automatic statistics gathering replaces the analyze_schema.sh script for IBM InfoSphere MDM Server for PIM and InfoSphere MDM Collaboration Server.

Oracle 10g and 11g has an automatic statistics gathering job that is scheduled by default and starts around 10 PM everyday. Oracle recommends that you do not use both the automatic statistics gathering job and the manual DBMS_STATS procedure.
