"Error trying to open document: Entry not found in index" when opening repeating meeting

Technote (troubleshooting)

In your Notes calendar, if you try to open a repeating meeting in the Day-At-A-Glance view, you receive the following error message:

" Error trying to open document: Entry not found in index."
The error occurs only with repeating meetings and no error occurs if the invitation is open in the calendar view.

1. Open your Notes mail file and from the File menu, choose Preferences -> Basic Notes Client Configuration --> Additional options --> select "Show check marks in margin for selected document" -> click OK.

2. Choose New --> Meeting --> Repeat and create a daily, weekly, monthly, or custom meeting --> click Save --> Send Invitations.

3. Click the icon located on Day-At-A-Glance and select Summary.

4. Double-click to open the repeating meeting you just created to see the error. If you click OK on the error, the calendar document opens.

Go back to File --> Preferences --> Additional options or the Summary option in Day-At-A-Glance, and uncheck "Show check marks in margin for selected document", the error does not occur.
