How do I sync a folder to my device using Lotus Notes Traveler?

For folder items to sync, the folder needs to be enabled to sync in Windows Mobile. By default, only the Inbox and Drafts folders are enabled for synchronization; all other folders, including the "Sent" items folder, are disabled initially. To enable any folder to sync to your device, you must enable this within the Windows Mobile sync settings (these are not Traveler settings).

For example, on a Windows Mobile Standard or Smartphone, this setting can be found here (the exact path on your phone might be different):

Open the Lotus Traveler Mail (so you can read/see mail on your device)
Select Menu
Select Folders
Select Menu
Select Manage Folder
Select the folder you want to sync, and then Menu -> Sync and then Done
(If you go back into Manage Folder, the folder you selected should be bold, showing that it will now be synced.)

For a Windows Mobile Professional devices, this setting can be found here:
Open the Lotus Traveler Mail (so you can read/see mail on your device)
Select Menu
Select Tools
Select Manage Folders...
Select the folder you want to sync and then select OK.
(If you go back into Manage Folders, the folder you selected should be bold, showing that it will now be synced.)

For a Nokia device, open the Traveler client:
Select Options
Select Settings
Select Mail
Select Folders
Select the folders you want to sync and select back and options will be saved.


The next time Traveler syncs, it will begin syncing the selected folder to the device. This may take some time depending on the size of the folder being synced.
