log4j.logger.maximo.mobile=DEBUG
log4j.logger.maximo.mobile.webservice=INFO
log4j.logger.maximo.mobile.sql.incupdate=INFO

Rebuild & redeploy

6) Reproduce the problem and send the logs to Maximo Support.

Device Logging

For issues where data is not transferring to the server or queries are not being downloaded it is also helpful to turn device logging by uncommenting the following lines in the mobile.properties:

//maximo.mobile.debug=true
//maximo.mobile.debug.persistence=INFO
//maximo.mobile.debug.serialization=ERROR
//maximo.mobile.debug.communication=INFO
//maximo.mobile.debug.sensor=INFO

You will need to re-package and deploy the Mobile jar files after doing this. Once the problem is reproduced this file can also be sent to support.

Emulator Logging

Launch the Mobile emulator application (ie. Work_Mangement.cmd) and append it to a .log file as show below:

<c:\Mobile\DESKTOP\IBM_Maximo_Mobile>Work_Management.cmd > debug.log

*NOTE*: Turning on logging on the device could cause slower performance, you will want to turn this off after reproducing the issue.
