Abstract
The product name for IBM WebSphere Information Server has changed to IBM InfoSphere™ Information Server. In InfoSphere Information Server, Version 8.1, the documentation, tools, and on-line help still use the former names for the suite and for individual product modules. In InfoSphere Information Server, Version 8.5, the documentation, tools, and on-line help have been updated with the new names for the suite and for individual product modules.

The following list shows the new name followed by former name for each product and product module. For best results when you search within the Information Center, use the product module name – for example, search on DataStage or FastTrack.
