This technote has been created to document maintenance required for users of High Performance Routing (HPR). This document replaces information APARs II14056 and II10953.

Section 1: Gathering Documentation

If the recommended maintenance in this technote has been applied, the following documentation must be obtained:

VTAM internal trace leading up to the failure with the following options. Run this on both sides of the HPR pipe if they are both VTAM.

MODE=EXT,OPTIONS=HPROPTS

A dump of the VTAM address space.

If the problem is related to Enterprise Extender, gather a TCP/IP packet trace as described in technote 1292013.
