"Error in loading DLL" and "The object's application or class is not available" errors display when trying to create a new meeting
When you attempt to create a new meeting in your Notes/Domino calendar, you receive the following error message:
"Error in loading DLL."
"The object's application or class is not available."
In one case, a customized template that included some script libraries.was being used.
Diagnosing the problem
- Performed a double design replace but the problem persisted. Examination showed that the _Calendar Entry form had been modified.
- The _Calendar Entry form was deleted and the design replaced. Mismatch errors occurred on the CSCalendarEntry and further examination showed that the CSCalendarEntry script library was also modified.
- The CSCalendarEntry script was deleted and the design replaced again but further type mismatches occurred on other script libraries.
- All modified script libraries were deleted and the design replaced.
Resolving the problem
The final workaround was to delete the _CalendarEntry form along with the CSCalendarEntry, CSEventClass, CSEventNotes, and CSUIViewClass script libraries. Then the design was replaced with the out-of-the box template.
NOTE: If you encounter this situation, additional forms and script libraries may have to be replaced depending on any customization.
