Troubleshooting


Problem

You are experiencing Installation and/or Uninstallation problems in WebSphere Message Broker (WMB) or IBM Integration Bus (IIB) on z/OS. You would like to know what documentation you must collect (MustGather) so that the WMB/IIB Support team can diagnose your problem. If you gather this documentation before contacting support it will expedite the troubleshooting process, and save you time.

  • Complete broker joblog

    WMB V7 or V8: Viewing broker joblogs


    IIB V9: Viewing broker joblogs
    • Joblogs are vital in that they provide component messages, environment details, product level data and other useful information.



  • Tell us what errors you saw, where you saw them, and what time they happened
  • Let us know if you made any changes to WebSphere Message Broker or the system before the problem
  • Share any other observations which you think will help us to better understand the problem
