P roblems performing ClearCase operation:
CCWeb: Error: Unable to open clearcase snapshot view registry:Permission denied.

Cause

The following are possible causes for this error:

  1. Invalid characters are being used in file names being loaded.
For instance, the use of some characters may cause issues when operating in a environment with various clients and servers running different operating systems. See: Differences in supported character sets

Solution for Cause 1

Remove invalid characters from the file names and retry.
