Question
Are you trying to locate the IDBREQ client components after installing APAR OA18101 (PTF UA36165) to resolve a problem using IDBREQ.exe and IDBHLAPI.dll talking to Information Management for z/OS (InfoMan)
Answer
The latest version of idbreq.exe and idbhlapi.dll are in the hlq.SBLMSAMP library member BLQWAWIN. This member must be downloaded to a Windows workstation in binary mode and named BLQWAWIN.zip.
The .zip file can then be opened and extracted to the InfoAPI folder which contains the desired files, idbreq.exe in the InfoAPI folder and idbhlapi.dll in the InfoAPI/dll folder.
Note, the InfoAPI/dll folder also contains an updated version of the HLAPI-NT Rexx interface BLMYRXM.dll.
The hlq.SBLMSAMP library in this instance is part of Web Access comp id 5698WAI00 Rel HOYB320.
