Cannot Delete Attachments in Scheduled Sametime Meetings

| | | | Problem | | Cannot delete more than one attachment at a time in Sametime Meetings or cannot delete attachments at all. | | | | | Cause | | Their was a change introduced in the Domino API that caused this functionality to break. | | | | | Environment | | This is not Sametime version specific and can be reproduced on 7.5.1 and 8.0 x code stream.
Sametime running on Domino 7.03 and 8.0 generates this issue.
Sametime running on Domino 7.02, 7.02 FP1, 7.02 FP2, 7.0.4, & 8.01 do not have this issue. | | | | | Diagnosing the problem | Steps to Reproduce the issue:
1. Click 'Schedule a Meeting' link
2. Enter a meeting name and schedule the meeting started in future in Essentials tab
3. Click on Slides tab, Click Add Slides button, browse to a file, click ok......go through the steps again and add several attachments
4. Save the meeting
5. You should see all the attachments at the bottom of that meeting
6. Click Edit Meeting button in Meeting Details page
7. Go to Slides tab
8. Put a checkmark on 'Delete file' options for multiple attachments
9. Save the meeting
10. You'll see that only the first attachment is deleted | | | | | Resolving the problem | | Issue is addressed in Domino 7.0.4 & 8.0.1 and above code streams. To resolve this issue please, upgrade to the next available Domino release. This issue cannot be addressed with a hot-fix.
An alternate solution is to delete the meeting and create a new meeting with the required slides.
Note:
Sametime 7.5.1 is only supported on Domino releases 7.0x
Sametime 8.0x is supported on both 7.0x & 8.0x Domino releases.
