Opening a document results in RequisitePro error: Library not registered
Attempts to open a document using IBM Rational RequisitePro results in the error "Library not registered. (RqWordServices.WordWrapper, 421, -2147319779)".
The full error message is:
Runtime Error: Automation error
Library not registered. (RqWordServices.WordWrapper, 421, -2147319779)
This unexpected event was recorded in the log file:
This error is caused by a Microsoft related problem with the Office 2007 Primary Interop Assemblies.
The problem may also be caused by having Microsoft Project 2010 installed with Word 2007.
Resolving the problem
In order to resolve this communication issue, it is necessary to uninstall this package through Add/Remove Programs in the Microsoft Windows Control Panel.
Note: If the Microsoft Office 2007 Primary Interop Assemblies is not installed, it might be necessary to install or re-install the Windows Script 5.6.
In the case Microsoft Project 2010 is installed with Word 2007, the following registry key can be removed to correct the problem:
