Question
ISTEXPRF replacement failed code F2 error message occurs at NetView Performance Monitor (NPM) startup. Also, FNM305T ISTEXPRF NOT LOADED, RC=24 may occur.
Answer
At startup, NPM issues a command to VTAM requesting VTAM to load ISTEXPRF load module. In order to be able to then execute this module, the library it was loaded from must be authorized. Generally, the NPM LLIB is authorized and if the VTAM start proc points to that in its llib concatenation it will load properly. If the exit is moved to an unauthorized library the following messages may occur.
