Question
When running the Data Collector Configuration Tool, you select multiple application server instances to configure. In that panel, you have the choice to redirect or not to redirect the Garbage Collection output. Is there a way to make this choice for each application server instance?
Answer
No. If you make the choice to redirect the Garbage Collection output, the Garbage Collection logs get created in the itcam_dc_gclog.log file under each of the application server instance's log homes. If you make the choice not to redirect the Garbage Collection output, the Garbage Collection logs get created in the native_std output file under each of the application server instance's log homes.
