Paymentech Plug-in sets the response code incorrectly

Technote (troubleshooting)

Problem(Abstract)

If you are using or plan to use the Paymentech Plug-in feature for WebSphere Commerce that comes with WebSphere Commerce Feature Pack 2, then this applies to you.

There is a known issue with the Paymentech plug-in code when it sets the response reason code of an approve transaction to 0 (unsuccessful) instead of 100 (successful) even though the Paymentech gateway returns a response reason code of 100 (successful).

Resolving the problem

This issue was fixed in APAR JR26860. Contact WebSphere Commerce support to get the APAR.

Important Note: Read the following Technote prior to installing APARs on top of Feature Pack 2:
Failure to apply APARs to Feature Pack 2 features that have already been enabled
