Problem(Abstract)

The .xlsx file format is not supported.

Resolving the problem

The following limitation applies when using Microsoft Office 2007 with Database Access:

  • The Database Access utility does not support the .xlsx file format introduced in Microsoft Office 2007.
A query result can be saved in a .xls file, which can then be edited with Microsoft Office Excel 2007.
