A Sametime® Connect client user is unable to send an e-mail.
The following error displays when attempting to send an e-mail from the Sametime Connect client:
An email address was not found for the following
The user is right-clicking on the name of an on-line user in their contact list and selecting Send -> E-mail from the menu.
The issue occurs when a 7.5.1 client is connecting to a pre-7.5 server because this functionality relies on the UserInfo servlet, which was only introduced in the 7.5 Sametime server.
Resolving the problem
This issue has been reported to Quality Engineering as SPR# DANE73ESRU. The server must be upgraded to release 7.5 or higher to support this functionality.
