When you create additional key rings in the Server Certificate Administration database on a Lotus® Domino® server, the following warning message appears:
"WARNING! A key ring file for this server has already been created. Are you sure you want to proceed?"
The message seems to indicate that there is another key ring with the same file name. However, you entered a unique name. You also notice that the header of the Warning dialog box shows the file name of the previous key ring (*.kyr), not the current file name.
Resolving the problem
You should click OK to proceed. The warning message does not affect the key ring creation. After you click OK, you will see the confirmation message indicating a new key ring file was created.
This issue has been reported to Quality Engineering as SPR# HSAO72NKJL and determined not to be a software problem. The warning is to alert you that this server already has one key ring file in place, and the dialog header displays that existing key ring file name. The warning does not mean that you are creating a duplicate key ring.
