Problem
In Maximo you can specify which days of the week you want a PM to be active and forcing Maximo to only generate work orders on those days.
Resolving The Problem
To define active days for a PM:
1. In the Preventive Maintenance application, display the PM record you want to define active days for.
2. Click the Seasonal Dates tab.
3. In the Active Days section, select the check boxes for each day that you want the PM to generate work orders. To keep the PM from generating work orders on a certain day, clear the check box for that day.
4. Click Save PM
Maximo will only generate work orders for the PM on those days you have selected.
