Products that are applicable to this technote
This technote includes recommended fixes for WebSphere Commerce, and for WebSphere Application Server, WebSphere MQ and DB2 when used with WebSphere Commerce.
If you are an IBM i (iSeries) user, you should also review the PTF tables for WebSphere Commerce Version 6.0 on i5/OS V5R4, i5/OS V5R3, and System i 6.1 technote.
Recommended and latest fixes
The fixes listed in this technote are recommended as a result of testing done by the WebSphere Commerce test team and experiences gathered by WebSphere Commerce Support and Services.
The WebSphere Commerce Support team does not plan to recommend further Fix Pack updates during the holiday season. Until January 2010 this technote will only be updated if an issue is found which is deemed critical to the operation of WebSphere Commerce sites.
Both the recommended and the latest fixes are supported by WebSphere Commerce. If you are upgrading to a fix pack that is newer than the ones listed, we still recommend that you review this technote as information might be applicable to your environment.
We recommend that you subscribe to WebSphere Commerce notifications to be up to date with the latest support updates.

Note for all 6.1 users:
In order to update WebSphere Application Server to 6.1.0.25 first ensure WebSphere Commerce is running with Fix Pack 8 (6.0.0.8) or higher or contact WebSphere Commerce Support to obtain the following iFix: LI74720.
