Abstract

Four PTFs are now publically available for installation on IBM® WebSphere® Extended Deployment V6.1 for z/OS®. These PTFs address various configuration problems and must be installed prior to initial configuration of WebSphere Extended Deployment V6.1.

Content

The following PTFs are currently available:

1. PTF UK25154 is available for FMID HEEX610
2. PTF UK25165 is available for FMID JEJC610
3. PTF UK25170 is available for FMID JEJD610
4. PTF UK25168 is available for FMID JEJO610

All four PTFs provide fixes to problems that may be seen during the initial configuration of their respective FMIDs.

All users of Extended Deployment for z/OS V6.1 may encounter these errors.

WebSphere Extended Deployment for z/OS V6.1 postinstall actions may report errors. These errors are reported when WebSphere Network Deployment postinstall actions are also pending. The errors may not be reported when there are no Network Deployment postinstall actions pending.

The WebSphere Extended Deployment for z/OS V6.1 postinstall actions have been corrected in four PTFs noted above.

It is strongly recommended that these PTFs be installed prior to the initial configuration of Extended Deployment for V6.1.
