at lotus.domino.NotesFactory.createSession(Unknown Source)

Cause
The Domino server has not been configured to allow connections from Portlet Factory Domino Builders.

Answer
To resolve the issue, take the necessary actions to ensure the following settings are in place on Domino.

1. Ensure the DIIOP (Domino IIOP) task is running

Open the Server document in the Domino Directory (names.nsf). On the Ports -> Internet Ports -> DIIOP tab, specify the "TCP/IP port number" for DIIOP (which typically is 63148). Also, set "TCP/IP port status" to Enabled.

2. Ensure the HTTP task is running

The HTTP task also must be run in order to get the IOR. In the Server document, go to the Ports -> Internet Ports -> Web tab. Specify the TCP/IP port number for HTTP. By default, the HTTP task uses port 80.

3. Enable database browsing over the network

To access a database without knowing its file name (as the Portlet Factory Domino Builders do), you must allow browsing over the network. In the Server document, go to the Internet Protocols -> HTTP -> R5 Basics tab. Set "Allow HTTP clients to browse databases" to Yes.

4. Enable Anonymous authentication

In the Server document, go to the Ports -> Internet Ports -> Web tab. Ensure that the authentication settings are set to allow Anonymous authentication.
