DATA PROTECTION FOR N SERIES SNAPSHOT FOR MYSAP™ V5.4.0

o Hardware
- Two pServer or compatible servers, with 256 MB memory and 100 MB disk space
- IBM System Storage N series

o Software
- AIX V5.2 (32-bit or 64-bit) ML5+ and PTF U488817 for APAR IY44637 or AIX V5.3 (32-bit or 64-bit) ML1+ and fix for PMR 28176,070,729 referring to AIX V5.2 fix IY62648
- AIX Base System Locale ISO Code Set - U.S. English
- NFS v3 for sharing the repository directory between 'production' and 'backup' servers
- Java runtime for AIX V1.1.8, V1.3.0, or V1.3.1, or later
- IBM DataONTAP in one of the GA versions (last version is 7.2 )
- The license for the features FCP, Flexible Volume Clone and Snap Restore must be activated
- Logical volumes need to be of type JFS2
- AIX additional filesets: libgcc must be installed. It is part of the AIX Toolbox for Linux Applications

- IBM System Storage N series FCP AIX Host Attach Kit 1.3 (enables to configure an IBM AIX host to access LUNs on an IBM N series storage system.)
- SAP R/3 Release 4.5B to 4.6D or mySAP™ e-business solutions
- SAP DBA tools kernel release 6.20 with patch level 118+
Note: On the backup system, only the mySAP™ DBA tools and Oracle client code are required.

DB2 UDB INTEGRATION MODULE V5.3.3

The DB2 UDB Integration Module is used in conjunction with the Hardware Devices Snapshot Integration Module and the Tivoli Storage Manager backup-archive Client.

DATA PROTECTION FOR DISK STORAGE AND SAN VOLUME CONTROLLER FOR ORACLE V5.3.1

Data Protection for Disk Storage and SAN Volume Controller for Oracle requires the following hardware and software:

o Hardware
- Two pSeries or IBM System p compatible servers, with 64 MB memory and 4 MB disk space.
- For disk storage:
-- IBM Total Storage DS6000 with microcode level 6.0.600.25, or later or IBM Total Storage DS8000 with microcode level 6.1.600.52, or later
-- A machine that meets the minimum requirements of the IBM Common Interface Model (CIM) Agent for DS Open API V5.1.0.67, or later V5.1.x levels, or V5.2.1, or later
