WebSphere Service Integration Bus fails to send messages to a queue manager

Technote (troubleshooting)

This document applies only to the following language version(s):

US English

Problem(Abstract)

Foreign Bus in WebSphere Service Integration Bus (SIB) will not allow messages to be sent to a real WebSphere MQ queue manager.

Cause

Foreign Bus name does not match the queue manager name.

Resolving the problem

If you are connecting an SI Bus to a WebSphere MQ queue manager, the Foreign Bus defined in the WebSphere Application Server must have the same name as the WebSphere MQ queue manager to which you are connecting.

This point is not made entirely clear in the WebSphere Application Server documentation.
