Problems within Basic Mapping Service editor can be experienced with WDz V126.96.36.199

When opening a BMS file source, both the Outline View and the Palette View are not shown. After confirming a number of Error Messages, the Source File is shown in the Editor but the user is unable to save the file.
If the following levels of the two products are installed through IBM Rational Product Updater, the BMS editor will not work correctly.
This problem is caused by an incompatibility between the maintenance level of Rational Application Developer and WebSphere Developer for zSeries.
Resolving the problem
The BMS problems are resolved with WebSphere Developer for zSeries 6.0.1 Interim Fix 002 (188.8.131.52) and later.
