Updated Sametime 7.0 W32, AIX and Solaris package to correct two issues

IBM has released an updated Sametime 7.0 W32, AIX and Solaris package to correct two issues. There is no corresponding iSeries release needed.

The issues addressed in this repackage are described in:

Technote #1216902, "Sametime install warning message 'Sametime 7.0 requires Domino version 7.0.0...' is misleading"

Technote #1217119, "STLinks does not initialize when Domino server is installed under C:\Program files\Lotus\Domino"

1. Determine if this updated package applies to your environment

There are two decision points:

A. During the installation of a Sametime 7.0 server on an existing Domino 7.0 server the misleading message "IBM Lotus Sametime 7.0 requires Domino version 7.0.0 or later. Proceed anyway?" displays (see Technote #1216902 for details). You can download the update package to avoid seeing this message during future installs.

B. If your company does not run applications that use STLinks (or if you have followed the workarounds detailed in Technote #1217119), and you do not need to avoid the misleading message described above, then this updated package is not required.

2. Determine which version of Sametime you have installed

You should first ensure that you do not already have the updated package installed.

The information is this section is a companion to Technote #1098628. To determine which version of the Sametime server is installed, open a web browser, and in the Address field (or by pressing Ctrl+O), enter the following:

http://<servername>/Sametime/buildinfo.txt
(where <servername> is the Fully Qualified Domain Name of the Sametime server)

To determine the server version, compare the contents of the buildinfo.txt file to the appropriate entry below.
