Troubleshooting
Problem
Although JCo versions 2.1.4 and higher require the msvcp71.dll and msvcr71.dll files to run, these files are not packaged with JCo and are not the default system files of Windows. They must be obtained from SAP.
Resolving The Problem
See SAP Note 684106 on the SAP Service Marketplace website (www.service.sap.com). The .dll files are contained within the attachments section of the SAP note along with instructions on how to install them. You must have a valid user name and password for the SAP Service Marketplace to view the SAP Note.
