Mesg: Exception caught in DominoConnectorAgent::init: com.ibm.adapters.domino.DominoException: [Type: Error] [MsgID: 4001] [Mesg: Exception caught in DominoSession::getSession: Could not get IOR from Domino Server] ] This problem may happen in all versions of Domino Adapter on all platforms including WebSphere Business Integration (WBI) Server Express (WBISE).

Resolving The Problem

There are several areas to check if you see the error messages above:

1. Check the firewall to verify that it allows you to access the remote Domino server.

2. Check the IIOP Port on the Domino Internet Ports tab of the Domino Server document to verify that IIOP is enabled.

3. If the default port for Domino IIOP (63148) is being used by another application, change Domino IIOP to use a different available port.

4. If the Domino server's HTTP service is not running on port 80 (the default port) you will need to specify the Domino server name as <Domino server name>:< Domino server’s HTTP Port number> for the DominoServerName property in the Connector Specific Properties of the Domino Connector Configurator. For example: myDomSvr:8080
where myDomSvr is the Domino server name and 8080 is the Domino server’s HTTP Port number.
