Error during import "Certificate signature does not match contents"
|
| | | | Question | | When you import and merge a trusted root certificate into a Lotus® Domino® server's SSL keyring, the following message occurs:
"Certificate Signature does not match Certificate Content" | | | | | Answer | | This issue has been reported to Quality Engineering as SPR# KEMG6DJPCC. This error occurs when the trusted root certificate is 4096-bit. Domino 7 and earlier releases do not support this size of key. Notes/Domino 8.0 adds support for 4096-bit RSA keys for both Lotus Notes and Internet certifiers. For more information, refer to "Does Lotus Domino support 4096-bit trusted root keys?" (#1149988).
To correct the problem, use a trusted root certificate that is 1024-bit for the Domino R5 Certificate Authority database, or 2048-bit for the Domino 6 and Domino 7 CA process. | | | | | | | | | |
