Abstract

Your browser displays a time out, authorization or FTP folder error message when you are attempting to download a DB2® Universal Database™ (DB2 UDB) Version 8 FixPak using Internet Explorer.

To resolve this problem you must disable the folder views for FTP sites in Internet Explorer.

  1. In Internet Explorer, click Tools -> Internet Options -> Advanced. (view Pic#1 )
  2. In the Browsing section , deselect "Enable folder view for FTP sites". (view Pic#2 )
  3. Click OK and close all Internet Explorer browser windows.
  4. Restart Internet Explorer.
