Invites issued by one person cannot be changed by another person

Technote (FAQ)

Question

You use Lotus Organizer® to track schedules and make changes to invites. In order to notify everyone sharing the file that changes were made, you invite them to a meeting and set all changes at that time.

If a new chairperson continues this process, he/she can invite people and implement changes going forward but cannot make changes to existing appointments and receives the following error message:

You are not the Chairperson and can't make any changes.
Is there a way to assign global changes to a new chairperson or to get into the locked documents and change them?

Answer

A possible workaround is to export the files and then import them back into Organizer.
