Problem
Error ANS1245E (RC122), is seen when a restore is being performed for a DP client on an alternate system other than the production system, or when the Tivoli Storage Manager Client API was recently upgraded to a higher version.
Resolving The Problem
The problem happens because the API client version is down level from the production system's API client. In newer versions of Tivoli Storage Manager Server database tables have been modified to use a new format that does not match the format expected by some older API clients.
Upgrade the API client to the same version as the production system. If the production API client version is unknown, it is recommended to upgrade the API client to the latest version available.
