Problem(Abstract)
During activation of the ANYNET major node, VTAM sets sense code 80010000 during ACTLINK processing and issues the following messages:
IST380I ERROR FOR ID = xxxxxxxx - REQUEST: ACTLINK, SENSE: 80010000
IST1646I BPX1SDD UNKNOWN FAILED FOR SOCKET DESCRIPTOR 00000000
IST1647I RETURN VALUE FF RETURN CODE 0000009C REASON CODE 0B0C00FB
Cause
The failure is described by the return code, reason code combination in message IST1647I. OMVS describes this failure as:
- The user ID is not authorized to use OMVS.
Action: Create an OMVS segment with a UID
Resolving the problem
Add the VTAM procedure name to UNIX security and reactivate the ANYNET major node.
