WBI Server Version 4.2.2: Maximum Number of Concurrent Users

Problem(Abstract)

The max number of the concurrent users is related to the database configurations (default value = 40) , and it can be configured by the customer depending on its number of users.

Cause

In WBServer version 4.2.2 there was problem in closing some connection which had been already fixed in 4.2.3 .

Resolving the problem

In WBServer version 4.2.2 there was problem in closing some connection which had been already fixed in 4.2.3 .

The max number of the concurrent users is related to the database configurations (default value = 40) , and it can be configured by the customer depending on its number of users.
The steps for doing that are :
1- Open IBM DB2 control center.
2- Choose the database to Configure.
3- Right-click on the database and choose configure.
4- In the Applications tab, there is an attribute "Maximum number of active applications" (maxappls) with default value = 40
5- Change this value to the suitable value and apply the changes.
